#MySql Hi, I think the VPS uses Plesk panel and the shared hosting uses their custom panel. There will be some amount of manual effort involved in moving and configuring the files, email ids, databases, cron jobs, etc. Please let me know if there is any other special requirement I am missing. Almost all our clients use 1and1, OVH and hostgator as hoster so we are familiar with their system (and bugs) so this sould be a child's play for us. I am also a joomla user since mambo so nothing difficult. It will be done in 3 hours max.

Assuming that you are able to install extensions into the current site, I would install Akeeba Backup, which will allow you to create a backup of the whole site and database. Then I would use Kickstart to restore the backup to the new server. What I would need: 1. Joomla admin access to existing site 2. Site must be setup with permissions that allow for installation of extensions 3. FTP or SSH access to the new server to upload the backup 4. Details of an empty database on the new server to enter into kickstart when restoring the site: a. Database name b. username c. password OR 4. The means to create a database on the new server - For example: PHPMyAdmin or CPanel or SSH I migrate Joomla sites a lot as part of my job at a web design agency and am very comfortable and fast with this kind of work.
