As a startup we are building a comparison website that will use a crawler to gather latest price information, and product and stock details. The industry this is in is very far behind on technology and there is a large gap in the market. We are looking for a backend developer to build a system that can interpret the scraped data and make it searchable/filterable. We have a frontend developer who you will be working alongside but platform choices have not been made yet, as we would like input from an experienced developer who can give suggestions on the best platform to use for this project. Developer can be remote but will be required to sign NDA as this is a unique project with little market competition. We'd also be able to add in a long term bonus if the website goes on to be successful.

From what I have read , there are only a few more things that needs answering so that I can understand your deployment. So let me elaborate on that . Can you please tell me what type of API you will be using for Data set ( IF ANY ) , Can you tell me the type of Server you have ? and of course what type of CRON it supports?
