I am happy to bid on this project and have the necessary skills to convert a node based backend to use a different binary format. I'll be honest - without knowing the full scope of the work it's difficult to put a sensible time and money estimate but I think it is fair to assume there is a fair bit of work hence what might seem a larger than average first guess on the time it'll take. Assuming the work is a straight protocol swap out (plus a reasonable amount of 'extra stuff') and that you have the new protocol fully specced out/documented then please get in touch. If there is additional work to do in creating the new protocol then that is something I might be also able to help you with but is not something I am considering as part of this work.
