34142 Wordpress ping logs

I have many wordpress blogs online that I post to continually. After each post wordpress should ping [login to view URL] [login to view URL] [login to view URL] [login to view URL] [login to view URL]' I need a php plugin which will confirm that the pings have been made and log the responses from the update services. The script must be portable so I can upload it to my existing blogs. I am wanting to work with a php developer who is experienced with what I require as I assume this is not a difficult script for someone familiar with the requirements.
