Create an Image list control instance on the form. Set the Name property to ilsImages. The images for this exercise I have attached. Add the images named [login to view URL], [login to view URL], [login to view URL], [login to view URL], [login to view URL] and last.ico. Create a toolbar control instance on MDI parent form. Configure the toolbar such that the first and second buttons will open a file, and exit the solution respectively. Use the OpenFile and Stop images for the two buttons. Create a separator bar so that it appears after the stop button. Create four more buttons that will navigate to the first, previous, next, and last for these buttons. Configure the toolbar so that only the open and exit buttons appear when the solution starts running. Create a status bar control instance on the form. Configure the status bar so that the first panel displays the name of the currently opened file. Configure this panel so that it fills the contents of the status bar. The second panel should display the current record number. You will update this values as the user navigates from one record to another. The third panel should display the total number of records. The final panel should display the current date. Create a menu for the MDI parent form. This menu should have a file menu with items to open a file and exit the solution. Create a menu for the MDI child form. The menu named Navigate should have menus items with captions of first, previous, next and last. Add a standard module to the solution. Create the code to navigate between records. The code must be shared between the toolbar buttons on the MDI parent for and the Navigate menu items on the MDI child form. Make use that the user cannot attempt to locate the record that does not exist. As the user moves from MDI child form to MDI child form write the code that will display the file name, current record number and total number of records in the status bar for the active MDI child form. Create the code to exit the solution.
