Add a 'Brand/Manufacturer' field to my e-commerce software

I have a piece of e-commerce software written in PHP/Javascript/AJAX, using a MySQL database. It is quite comprehensive in what it can do, but I would like to add some additional functionality to it. The first of these projects (and there will be many) is a **Brand/Manufacturer field**. I'd like it to work in this way: 1. Brands/Manufacturers can be added separately in the same way as a Category would be added (but to a separate table in the db, I assume). 2. Products have a 'brand' property, which is chosen within the admin panel from a drop down menu (similar to Category). 3. The brand can then be used within the site, e.g. displaying it in the product description, summary, etc. 4. It should also create a page for each brand with products by that brand (similar to category). At the moment I do this with categories for each brand, but it would be nice to have a separate functionality. ## Deliverables 1) Complete and fully-functional working program(s) in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done. 2) Deliverables must be in ready-to-run condition, as follows? (depending on the nature? of the deliverables): a)? For web sites or? other server-side deliverables intended to only ever exist in one place in the Buyer's environment--Deliverables must be installed by the Seller in ready-to-run condition in the Buyer's environment. b) For all others including desktop software or software the buyer intends to distribute: A software? installation package that will install the software in ready-to-run condition on the platform(s) specified in this bid request. 3) All deliverables will be considered "work made for hire" under U.S. Copyright law. Buyer will receive exclusive and complete copyrights to all work purchased. (No GPL, GNU, 3rd party components, etc. unless all copyright ramifications are explained AND AGREED TO by the buyer on the site per the coder's Seller Legal Agreement). ## Platform PHP, Javascript, AJAX MySQL
