update javascript code to run on Firefox, Safari, Explorer under a MacOSX Plaform

hi coders, we are running a site in php in which at one place we are using a javascript timer script to credit the user account for actively viewing a website for 15 seconds. This script is working fine at IE in all windows versions but yesterday we had received a complaint that it is not working on any browser(Firefox, Safari, Explorer) under a MacOSX Plaform , so we want you to re-code it so that it can work with MAC and other OS also.
