Messaging/ Helpdesk System
Requirements:
� Client can �Submit a new request�
o These requests should have a tracking ID number � like a support ticket number. Example: H37SLJ3
� Submission/ message gets emailed to the admin, a copy to the clients email, and is logged in the client panel, with all information and tracking ID
� Admin can login to the admin panel and view a list of support requests
� Admin can view the request, reply back with messages
o These replies will shown on the clients page � also an email sent to the client saying �NewLink Computer Services has replied to your request. Please login to [login to view URL] to view, update, and send additional messages.�
� Admin and client can send multiple response messages to each other for the specific request submitted (for the specific ticket/tracking number)
� Admin should have the ability to Complete/Close the request when the problem has been solved/completed
� Client should be able to submit infinite amounts of Requests � each having there own unique tracking ID
o All requests should be listed on the client's page in a section call: �My Requests.�
o Client should be able to view his original request, and submit replies to the requests.
Changes to current system:
� CLIENT AREA
o The Clients main page � after he logs in, should have in the main body a table for �My Requests� �Submit New Request,� and �Client Details� (current Payment details/ links to proofs/ and authorized info page contents)
o Links to the right should be: �Client Home�, Client Details & Info,� �My Requests.� �Manage Personal Information,� �Change Password,� and �Logout.�
 Client Home = should have links to Client Details & Info, My Requests, and Submit new Request
 Client Details & Info = should have current Payment details/ links to proofs/ and authorized info page contents
 My Requests = should have a table of all requests submitted, a link to submit new request� etc
 Manage Personal Information = same as current
 Change Password = same as current
 Logout = same has current
� ADMIN AREA
o Links to the right should be:
 Admin Management
 Client Management
 Change Password
 Logout
o Pages should have this info:
 Admin main page = same as current, but should have a notification in red font color saying �A new Request has been submit by *client first and last name*� and for replied messages, �A reply has been Submitted by *client first and last name*.�
 Client management = same as before
� When you click the �view� link next to the client it should open a page with links to �View/Manage Requests� and �Client Details & Info�
� When you click �view/manage requests� it should show a list of all requests submitted by the client � with the unique Tracking ID#
� Admin should have the ability to add a new request for the client
� Admin should have a button that says Close/Complete this request
o When closed � email should be sent to the client saying �Your request (TRACKING ID: *id goes here*) was completed by NewLink Computer Services. To view any messages from the admin, please login to newlinkcs.com.�
