Custom software change : CR2 files to make readable on Gallery Server PRO

I need to be able to read a CR2 files (maybe later a NEF or other raw images from SLR) on this great software : Gallery Server Pro. I have talked to the owner/developer, according to him, it is possible : "Well, it is possible to modify Gallery Server Pro to convert CR2 images to JPGs so they are visible in a browser. All you need to do is grab the source code and then modify it to do the conversion. You’ll need specs for the CR2 format so you get the conversion right. My guess is that the CR2 publisher (Canon?) provides an SDK that makes the conversion for you, so your only task is to incorporate the SDK in the Gallery Server Pro code. Hopefully their code is .NET compatible. I am busy with other tasks and not able to take on a project like this, but any .NET developer should be able to handle it. " The point for me is to keep ORIGINAL CR2 files without converting them to other formats, so they will be viewable on the screen with help of this great software. This software supports all kinds of crazy files, however no CR2, which I have plenty files of (about 250GB). As I want to share all my fotos with my family, and want them to have the ability to directly download the original RAW file, I need this custom change. Anybody can help please?
