Video Delivery Site seeks professional programmer to create a secure Joomla! Component which will allow Site’s members to select among various video media in .nsv and other various formats for viewing in browser and external media player. Programmer must be highly proficient in: * PHP 5 programming * MySQL 4.1.21 / phpMyAdmin 2.8.2.4 * Apache Server 2.2 running on Windows 2003 * Joomla! CMS 1.0.11 * Embedding video in PHP/HTML (.nsv, .avi., .H.264, etc..) * Multi-Server Environment Video files to be selected among different directories and servers and served through the Joomla! Component. Security and limiting direct access to the video media is paramount. Joomla! Component: * Component Front-End for Registered Users Area which offers video selection, playlist and play options * Component Back-End for Administration of crawler program, media directory locations, and Tracking and Logging of Files Accessed. * Security features against XSS, SQL Injection, Remote File Inclusion, Direct Access, and must Check Access Privileges of Users * Front-End must display tiered video selections based on Category, Group and Title * Component should be able to determine browser used and serve .nsv files (vp3.1 and vp6.1 / mp3) in an embedded media player (activeX plugins for IE & Firefox are required) * Be able to create a playlist following the .PLS format for use in users 3rd party media viewer * Include attractive graphical features (eg. Aesthetic appearance, buttons, etc.) We will provide existing php scripts which accomplish most of the above on a basic level which includes scripts for directory crawling, playlist generation, tiered media selections, and basic file serving and detection of codec. It is these scripts that the programmer may in part use to help in the above project. We will provide access to a basic working site to include ftp and Joomla! Admin rights. Directory security will eventually be controlled in the [login to view URL] file, but for the purposes of this project .htaccess files are acceptable. Remote access to a test server will be given as well to help speed things up. Only serious programmers should submit bids. Bids must include estimated completion time. The project detailed above is very simple. It sounds more complicated than it is. For the most part it is 90% complete. Only problem is it is a series of php scripts. All we are asking is for someone to turn what we have into a component and add some security. What the script does it is simply crawl a directory then displays the files. Our issue is security. We are using Windows 2003 Server with Apache and once the play list is downloaded the direct link to the files is shown. This allows the user to download the file at will or send the link to a friend where it can be downloaded without registering to our site.
