We are starting a new preschool called A Global Village Preschool. We need a site that is mainly informative but allows us to collect contacts and allows visitors to schedule a tour or send a message. It should be easy to update from a simple CMS (as simple as Weebly, for example) I think 5 to 10 pages, including a blog. colors are brown, green, black. I can point you to some designs we liked. Mascot is lion cub. Each child is a tiny individual complete with character, personality and an internal state that changes moment to moment. Children are natural learners full of talent and curiosity. Our aim is to observe and engage our students as unique individuals and foster their capabilities in terms of their rich humanity as well as practical skills. At AGVP we view culture as a creative activity. not merely as passive observation, and utilize the cultural arts to develop practical skills while we learn about the world. AGVP is a music and arts focused preschool, with a major emphasis in the curriculum on world cultures (art, music, games, food, stories, etc) and on learning to make music and create art. Our goal is that out of their experiences at AGVP, the children will learn to value each other enjoy nature appreciate cultural differences Our mission is to help to lay the foundation, along with the family, for a life full of creativity, learning and happiness for the child. It is our hope that from here will emerge capable, influential, compassionate leaders of the future Teaching Approach and Methods We will provide individualized developmental support, beginning with thoroughly getting to know your child. We will provide exposure to a wide variety of languages and cultures, and immersion experiences in at least one additional language other than English. We will support and watch over your child's self-directed explorations and investigations and provide an environment for enjoyable learning experiences. We will actively encourage dialogue and human connection. We will read constantly to and with the children, and encourage them to read as well.
