This project consists mainly of migrating existing code that uses HTML posts to web services for our current GirlFriend X and GFX Messenger desktop products to use in the 5.1 release of these products. Most of the functionality has already been coded to call stored procedures and either update data or return status codes and just needs web service wrappers to enable our desktop clients to more efficiently call our backend services. Two of the services that will be new are the Immediate and Scheduled Messaging which will be wrappers around the functionality exposed by our telecom provider <[login to view URL]>. In the case of the Scheduled Messaging service a windows service will be need to check for entries in our Schedule Events table that need to be executed. Based on the type of Schedule Event different telecom and backend feature will be used.
