Below are some features and capabilities: ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Interface Design • Clean, user-friendly interface design with a modern and visually appealing layout, interactive • Dynamic and interactive visual representation of the PC being built • 3D visualization of the PC being built that can be rotated to view all angles • Ability to select either Intel or AMD chipset • Option to set a budget range for the build • Or Option to select Preset build toggles (mid, high, and ultra settings) that set the initial selection of components Component Selection and Compatibility Checks • Option to select either white or black build color of PC build • Selection of 8 gaming PC components: case, CPU, GPU, motherboard, RAM, storage, CPU cooler type, and power supply ◦ A short list of part choices in each of the component categories with price, image, and basic features ◦ Ability to upgrade or downgrade any component and see the impact on the overall build price and performance • Basic Compatibility checks for component compatibility when any part is selected • GPU selected should affect the choice of Power Supply • CPU selected should affect the choice of motherboard • CPU selected should affect the choice of CPU cooler type required • Motherboard selected should impact the choice of RAM (DDR4 or DDR5) ◦ Notification pop-ups that appear when a part change is made, indicating the reason for the change and offering the ability to undo the change Performance Indicators and Game Performance Readouts • Interactive Performance graphs for both CPU and GPU that show performance-to-price ratio of CPU and GPU selected • Game performance readouts for 9 popular AAA titles at resolutions of 1080p, 1440p, and 2160p, indicating expected FPS rates for each game at each resolution setting the user toggles Additional Customization Options • Ability to add peripherals, such as a mouse, keyboard, speakers, microphone, and desk pad, to the build • Option to select a monitor that is compatible with the selected build • Option for Windows installation and the ability to select between Home or Pro versions • Option for gaming-optimized tweaks in Windows and BIOS to improve performance • Option to add a standard or extended warranty to the build • Option to select any free software to be installed on the build, such as antivirus or productivity tools • Final price breakdown, including nominal build fee, Windows installation fee, and any additional options selected Deliverables: • Source code of the custom gaming PC building tool • Functioning and tested tool deployed to website ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Desired Experience • Strong background in web development, including proficiency in relevant programming languages (e.g. HTML, CSS, JavaScript) and experience with e-commerce platforms. • Experience building highly interactive and visually engaging front-end customer-facing tool • Creative and experienced and comfortable with graphic design
