I have recently designed and implemented the price tracking dashboard for used car dealers. Very responsive design with bootstrap, datatables, php , mysql with parent and child table on the same page. Written scripts to monitor the price changes. I looked at your requirements, its almost the same nature. The one i did was to track the competitors sales and pricing on the cars and generate the report.
