Custom Magento Module for Canvas and Other Fine Art Custom prints on metal, wood, cotton papers, etc. We print for the artists, not the end user. We are printing for those who own the copyright to the art and then they will go on to sell to their clients.

We have a unique requirement for ordering custom configurations of products in Magento. Essentially the business model involves printing custom sized canvases and other substrates. Customers need to be able to upload and crop/re-crop their image, select a proportion and be able to lock that proportion and then position the crop box. A preview must be rendered showing the 3D edge in a number of different types. This might include but not be limited to Black, Image Wrap, Mirrored Edge, Custom Colored Edge, White edge, etc. Also, different thickness of wooden bar may be selected so for example one preview might show a thin .75" wooden bar and the next items might show a thickr 1.5" deep bar. The price of the product will be adjusted based on the options they select. As the user selects all of their options, a preview of the uploaded/cropped image should be generated, displaying what the piece will look like. Once the user is satisfied with their selection, they will be able to add the product to their cart, with the pricing calculated accordingly. They should also be able to edit the item in their cart at any time (i.e. re-crop the photo they uploaded, or replace with a new one, or modify any other options such as depth, edge type, or other attributes.) The options would need to be displayed in a clear view allowing the user to easily determine what they are selecting. This must be responsive and work on PC, Mac or tablet and phone. This module would detect the pixel dimensions of the uploaded image from the customer. If the size they desire exceeds the resolution of the supplied image, a warning would show telling them the image does not suffice. We are open to any suggestions. After the purchase is made, the cropped image would need to be downloadable from the view order page in the Magento admin section. The selected options need to be visible from the view order page. So many sites these days have told exactly like this, but I would like to have had my own custom coded to make sure I am not stealing code. I have seen these ranging from $39 all the way up to $1299, but we do not need image editing, no retouch, B&W conversion or anything like that. Just simple resolution detection, crop and preview. In order to qualify for this project, you must have demonstrable experience with developing Magento modules (ideally similar configurable product type modules).
