I can immediately tell you that your website can be loaded perfectly even on a VPS but I would suggest you a dedicated server. The locations are also good because I see that you are from UK and if your target is UK then you have multiple datacenters in Netherlands and France. Hi, IMHO, a cloud server would be best for you, since they can scale indefinitely without making any change. The issue in your case is that you have number of customers visiting your website and we need a cloud server which provides high services without charging for each hit made on the website. I am of the opinion that Openshift or Rackspace can be a good option for you.

I can get this done for you I am experienced with ftp server and mysql database I can backup both content and database and migrate it to new host I can do it right now.

I would suggest a cloud based hosting. We can try and use Hostmonster, it has unlimited possiblities. The migration process doesn't take to long, copying the files and the database, testing and deploying to live.

I have almost 10 years experience in designing, creating and managing websites. In my experience i would suggest a rack space server. If you have limited knowledge in maintaining webservers then i would recommend a semi-dedicated server. It has its own limitations, but the limitations are mainly constrained to programming configuration. Since your current hosting is with Godaddy and i assume from what you have written it is under shared hosting, then an upgrade to a semi dedicated server will not have any issues. Based on the technology you have used you can either buy a windows or a linux server along with corresponding web servers and database servers.
