We aren't looking for a rocky. We need an expert with great knowledge at the field image processing and python to be able to do this task. In our Python apps, we are using the PIL package to open, save, resize and transform images. We want to replace the PIL package with a faster solution. The new package should use GPU to image manipulation (like Dali [login to view URL] ). You can suggest better if you know. What will be your tasks? 1. Check the code and recommend us a better package instead of PIL. 2. Refactor the existing code to use the new package instead of PIL. Why we need this? Because currently cpu usage is really high and time consuming. When we pay? When you are fully ready with the task and you can prove that what you did is working. No partial payments.

Hello. I am C++/Python expert with +6 years of experience in development and image processing expert as well. For sure, you cannot use PIL for heavy tasks as it is Python based. However, using OpenCV is recommended (you can build it to support GPU as well) as it is fully C-backended and have much higher performance over other modules. May we discuss your code? Regards.

Hi Sipos T Yes Pillow library could be very slow , i could make a try using python + imagemagick , but i need to check the code first you say its just and automation tool for open, save, resize and transform images and you also dont mentions that include a GUI or other elements that bring certain complexity to the code, so yes i could look your code and implement the solution with imagemagick after this you can check if this works for you and if so make the payment i trust in your 5 star reputation
