Crystal Reports 2008 field fixed

Hello I have a simple report completed. It has a parameter dynamic field. This is a part number field. It works but with two problems. It does not in the drop down show all the part numbers from the database. I have seen on internet there is some registy field change that should fix but tried all and still not show all numbers. Second once it would show all the part numbers I will like to type in the part number and have it reduce it down to numbers that match as I type to select the correct part number. Everything else in the report is fine for what I need. So I need to get this field working right as the other fields in the report populate based on the part number selected. The other fields are working as I can choose a part number and they work.
