Dear Sir, Madam
I am writing this proposal in response to the posting about finding a programmer for your cartoon/RPG game. I used to work on games in unity having worked on a steam game in the past - Score. I was a backend programmer for the game, which was written in unity 3D and some other supporting platforms. The game itself got mixed reviews on steam but this was more a result of the scope of the design team far out-running the ability of the 4 or so artists and 3/4 programmers. The games scope was a GTA clone with a similar sized map, mixed with FIFA, which for an indie project is far to large.
Along side this I have taught live summer schools on creating games in unity to pupils between the ages of 11 and 16. This experience was a great way for me to work on explaining what I was doing in a simpler way, stopping me from getting too technical, making it easier for me to work with people outside of a technical background.
The reason I put 30 days as the estimated length was because I didn't know what the scope of the demo you wanted was and having learn't lessons from other games, I am massively overestimating as not to disappoint. The project itself sounds like a fun project for me to do outside of my normal job, which is working in Formula 1 Motorsport.
Looking forward to hearing back from you.
Many Thanks,
Matthew Hewitt
