I've played chess a lot in the past. I also participated in my hometown's chess tournament where our team won first prize. I've read quite a few books about chess in Lithuanian, Russian and some in English. I can understand why you translate Russian chess books, because some of them are really good. I learned Russian while our country was a part of the Soviet Union and am fluent in it. I also have an American friend experienced in translating from/into English, Chinese and Japanese, who collaborates with me for English proofreading.
