I need to develop a Microsoft Excel add-in. The add-in will include several functions that the user can select to calculate certain properties. A data bank in Microsoft access holds many properties of many chemicals. For example, the user wants to calculate the vapor pressure of methanol at 50 °C. The user selects "vapor pressure" from a pull-down menu in the excell add-in. A function appears requiring 2 inputs: material and temperature. The user selects "methanol" for the material, and inputs "50" for the temperature. Excel will calculate the answer using predefined function in VBA: Vapor pressure = A + B * Temperature + C (where A, B, and C are constants listed in a microsoft access database).

Hi, I am well-versed with the excel pug-inn/add-in and can help you to create that for you as well. For your add-in we create a menu with submenu "material and temperature". it opens a form asking for material name and the temperature in Celsius. and then calculate the details as per formula. Also it connects to access database for the details. I also need to know the exact flow you want to follow in terms of access database and the excel sheet data. Sound as a simple task. If your last choice is Excel, I'll do the job for Excel. My advice is to accomplish the task using Access or Visual Basic but... you are the boss.
