I need to create a spreadsheet containing 2 worksheets. The first worksheet must contain a number of specific items that are leased out with start and end dates. Each item will have numerous start and finish dates for leasing across a number of years and will contain certain data such as State to be leased in etc. This is the data entry sheet. The second worksheet must contain a graphical bar representing each item for lease, based on the previous mentioned spreadsheet dates. Dates will be shown across the top of the spreadsheet. Each item must be graphically displayed on 1 line only. Based on the data entered on the other spreadsheet, the cell must be displayed in a particular colour for each item, based on the state it is being leased to. Lastly, and this is the MOST IMPORTANT PART of the spreadsheet - when items have been double booked, the bar MUST change to a different colour (maybe red) for the period where 2 bookings occur on that item. Please see rough hand drawn attachment. Please let me know if this is viable.

Hello, I have 15 years of experience in Excel. I could create you a macro that will perform this function for you. It would list the earliest start date (after or on the current date) to the latest end date along the top and a list of the items being leased in this period down the side. It would then filter through each item in the first spreadsheet and put a bar along the specific date range it is being leased over. If the macro goes to add a bar and discovers there is already a bar for that item on that date it will colour it red for the duration of the overlap.

Hi, Very interested in your job. I will work super fast and deliver in record time. As a relevant experience to your project I have completed Kanban production and stock management database using Excel and VBA. In short this database got all the stock, sales, open orders data and printed kanban cards for each pallet of product to be produced according to the defined Kanban levels. Then these kanban cards are moved to an exposure board to make the planning visual. According to the requirements the planner sent a daily batch of kanban cards to the production boards. After the production is completed the kanban cards were scanned and this allowed stock entry as well as raw material consumption/back flush.
