I am in need of a website for my band, Finding Autumn. Our music can be classified as alternative rock and our target audience is primarily young adults. I would like the website to have a design that is artistic and has a cool, modern aesthetic, but also allows a user to naturally prioritize and access visual information and at the same time. Too many band websites have no clear hierarchy and structure of accessing information, overload the amount of information, or are just poorly designed. I have basic familiarity with html, programming, and web design, but not the time nor expertise to create the kind of website I want. I do have a vision, both ideas and specific details, for this website, and ideally I would like to hire someone who can create a website from a based on a picture, such as the one attached.

Sell Album CD's
Establish a greater band presence and engage fans
Features of the website:
Music and video content (Music Player)
Purchasing a specific album CD or other merchandise through the website

*Depending on your wants there are several ways to tackle this. The first thing that came to mind was w WordPress based website per your mention of increasing facebook likes. But then you mentioned selling products for which you can add an eCommerce plugin to WordPress but a Shopping Cart Solution would be best. I could of course skin the design and install both WordPress and a Shopping Cart. It all depends on you preferences of a back end and user experience.
All my work comes optimized for performance and search engines (SEO) included. I have submitted sites which have received up to 1.5 million unique visitors within the first month.
