I have a website up and running that currently has the domain registered with Namecheap, and it's currently hosted with Hostgator. However I need to move the domain to a new Namecheap account, and move the hosting to a new Hostgator account, so that I can give up control of the website to somebody else. The website is - [login to view URL] It is a Wordpress website. It also has some customizations to the Wordpress theme (twenty eleven) so I need to make sure that those customizations are NOT lost during the process of transferring the website. It is very important that the website remain exactly how it is now after the transfer is complete. Please let me know if you are capable of doing this project, and also let me know how long the website will be down for. Thank you! Joe

I can transfer the wordpress site with minimum downtime, probably 2 minutes if that, there is a special way to move wordpress websites that enables you to have minimum downtime. You wouldn't even realize it had moved hosting, it'll look and function 100% the same. You said that you want to switch domain ownership, are you aware you have to request that your domain registrar transfers ownership of the domain?

Anyway whole site migration to new host throughout the world will take some time since it take some time to happen dns changes.
