Small Flask/Boostrap front-end for database

Overview The goal of the project is to put together a small website to display the contents of a Sqlite database. Requirements: The server needs to be written in python using flask, jinja2 and bootstrap. The data is stored in a Sqlite database as protocol buffers (see [login to view URL]) in string format. I’ll provide code to read the protos from the DB and create python objects. The website should have a menu bar on top with three tabs, Summary, View records and Contact. Summary tab: The summary page contains some nicely formatted summary information: Number of records Last entry Further, a graphical visualization of timeline with graph showing date on x-axis and with numbers of surveys on y (something like plotly or bokeh could be used). View records: A record is a hierarchical object: Household → Household member → Survey. This should provide a tabular overview of the data on Household level, with top level information in a table. The table should be expandable, which will display top level information of all household members and surveys for a given household. Clicking on the expanded version of a survey will pop up a java-script overlay with detailed information of the survey displayed. Sorting and filtering: The table should be sortable the top level household columns. Furthermore, it should support filtering by date for a household column. Download as csv: The shown table (after filtering!) should be downloadable as .csv file. For this, the data structure needs to be flattened, where one row corresponds to one SurveyResponse.
