hi i have a problem with my dashboard website [login to view URL] please check the link [login to view URL] this email from hostgator, please read carefully "I have reviewed the case details and I am aware that you have been experiencing errors while trying to edit: [login to view URL] via the website's dashboard and the dashboard displayed a broken page as well. I went ahead and investigated the website: [login to view URL] and found that the dashboard was still inaccessible. While further investigating I found that the websites .htaccess page had a deny code which caused the website's dashboard to display forbidden error and the dashboard displayed broken contents as well FilesMatch ".(PhP|php5|suspected|phtml|py|exe|php)$"> Order allow,deny Deny from all </FilesMatch> <FilesMatch "^([login to view URL]|[login to view URL]|[login to view URL]|[login to view URL]|[login to view URL]|[login to view URL]|[login to view URL]|[login to view URL]|[login to view URL]|[login to view URL]|[login to view URL])$"> Order allow,deny Allow from all </FilesMatch> I have now marked the deny code as comment and tried accessing the Wordpress [login to view URL] review of your account, it does appear that the cause of the continued issues is related to the .htacces files on your server that have been compromised. I can see that the [login to view URL] file for [login to view URL] is not the default WordPress [login to view URL], and I cannot guarantee that all of your sites are fully and properly cleaned, as our scan does not pick up this specific infection. I would strongly recommend working with your security company to review your account again, and confirm that the sites are fully cleaned, including /home/user directories and databases. I have done a courtesy scan of your site content to check the malware and I’m afraid there are a few files that are still infected. Here is the path to scan report of your account: /home/awalsmy/malware.txt. A heads up, this is not a comprehensive scan and I'm sorry to say HostGator doesn't offer services for removing malware. The best alternative is to contact any third party security provider like Sitelock to scan your website files.
