Vacation Rental WordPress Site API Integration

‘Make a working interface in an existing WordPress website using our Vacation Rental Software’s API.’ We have 45+ vacation rentals, and we want people to be able to book them on our site. The Rental Software is called “Streamline VRS'' and has an active portal with all the required API documents. WordPress Site: [login to view URL] There are 3 main requirements for this project: 1. Make the property calendar detect, display, and inform the user of the Minimum Number of Nights required for each property on certain dates. The calendar on our Booking software has nightly limits that need to be implemented in the property’s calendar. What we need is: When the guest is picking the date. A prompt or message should be displayed stating “There’s a nightly min. of 30 nights for the selected dates” (we’ll shorten this if it looks too crowded on screen). This is so guests can't book just 1-2 nights months from now. There is a calendar at the bottom of the property’s page. This one already has numbers that are used to state how many days guests can book month by month. We would like this synced with what we have on our software as well. When the guest has requested dates that are below the required minimum of nights, they won’t be able to make the booking. The ‘BOOK NOW’ button should display a red warning stating: “There’s a nightly min. of X nights for the selected dates” *This task will count as completed when the calendar can respect the nightly minimums and inform the guests about the required nights. The guest shouldn’t be able to request a booking when the dates don’t respect these limits. 2. Pull prices from Streamline VRS API and display them on the INDIVIDUAL LISTING’s price box. The price box should include/display: - Nightly price x the number of nights booked. - Taxes, credit card and cleaning fees - Total Price After entering their data (email, number, # of guests, nights, etc.) and the prices are displayed, the guest should be able to press the ‘BOOK NOW’ button and send a booking request to us, which should appear on our end of the system, for us to accept. *This task will count as completed when the prices displayed match the ones on our rental software and the ‘BOOK NOW’ button can make the requested booking on the system as well. 3. Every time a new property is added. The prices and calendar should be synced with it. The listings are already saved on our website and are uploaded once every time we have a new listing ready to publish on Streamline. These are uploaded manually via the website. We want to keep it that way, otherwise, it will affect our SEO in the future. When a new property is uploaded, we want the prices and the calendar to be synced with that specific property. Our main theme has an easy way to upload a property, if possible we would like to keep it simple without messing up that system or the theme by itself. This means, finding a way that we can link the property (whichever that may be) on the WordPress site to the ones on the rental software side. 4. Wrapping up. The WordPress theme that we are using is WP RENTALS. It has its booking system which we would be overriding to integrate with the API. The project must be completed taking into account our available tools & resources. (Hosting, Speed, Storage, etc.). Without making the page slow or going over the limit. The page speed is optimal, and we want to keep it fast. At the end of the project and before sending the final payment. You will have to send the list of all the files and the directories that you worked on and the changes made (for our future reference).
