Hi we can do an add-on plugin for woo-commerce so it will be operate as separate extinction and as a woo-commerce child extension which extends the woo-commerce behavior and product section options for posting products. So for this plugin I'll create separate screen which you can enter gold purity title, price per weigh and then in the woo commerce product posting you'll get an option to add price markup, purity and weight for the product. In the frontend the price will be calculated for the product based on the price you sent for the product and the weight and calculating the markup price for it. These all will done using hooks and filters to make sure our codes will not effect by plugins update. Thanks
