We need assistance designing, prototyping, and fabricating a microcontroller device. The primary goal of the device will be to read an analog value from an input sensor, store the data to an internal storage chip or SD card, and periodically send the data to a web server for analysis. Requirements of the device include: * Must be power efficient and capable of running on batter power. The entire device (including battery) must fit in a cylindrical case less than 2.5 inches in diameter and 4 inches in length. * Must be capable of operating outdoors, without ventilation or cooling. * Must be capable of making web requests over a cellular data network. Must be able to send and parse request/response data in the JSON format. * Must be able to communicate with mobile devices via Bluetooth in order to perform device setup, configuration, and troubleshooting. * Each device must be able to be uniquely identified via an identifier such as a GUID or Serial Number. The device should be able to include the identifier in communications to the web server and Bluetooth devices. * Must include an LED to provide feedback to the user in regards to the state of the device. For example, the LED will blink in a certain pattern or color when the device’s Bluetooth is in pairing mode. * Must be capable of writing data to an internal storage chip or SD card. The data written will include data collected from the sensor and diagnostic logs for troubleshooting. The data should be formatted in the FAT32 format. * Must be capable of automatically downloading and updating the device software without manual intervention (over the air updates).

I am already working on BLE devices to work on battery power. The device we will make will periodically takes sensor value and store to memory.
