Support a M – F 9am – 6pm PST timeframe This a long term project that routinely works with internal users and Company clients, troubleshooting various applications, devices and frequently provides support and training. The principal responsibilities of this role are responding to service requests, confirming customer information, request follow-ups, and creating service tickets. This position will perform real-time monitoring of end points and servers across various Company and user platforms and routinely create, update, review and close service requests from various ticketing systems. An ideal candidate will have fundamental knowledge and understanding of basic networking and Windows, Linux and MAC OS environment fundamentals. Additional tasks performed will include Active Directory password changes, Office and Azure 365 password changes, application support, patch management, backup management, etc. Important note: this position requires that you routinely log into a Microsoft Teams Video bridge to work with team members. You must have a stable internet connect and good audio/microphone. ESSENTIAL PROJECT RESPONSIBILITIES: Excellent English communication and customer service skills Excellent customer support Able to work as a Team Player Critical Thinker and able to compete tasks Support Azure and Office365 break/fix tickets Ability to perform operating system patching Ability to provide break/fix support for various user requests Support backup and recovery Support DNS, DHCP, IP addressing and routing Read, write and understand technical manuals, procedural documentation and original equipment manufacturer guides Follow internal processes and documentation Routinely work in, update and update tickets, ticketing systems and internal processes Participate in technical meetings Any other task or duty as assigned or required Knowledge & Skills: 1+ years’ experience in a technical helpdesk environment OR comparable level of certification/training CompTIA training / certifications Windows 10 experience Microsoft Server 2016 or higher experience Microsoft Office 365 / Microsoft Azure experience / Windows 10 troubleshooting
