Good Day, thank you for the opportunity to bid on your project. I understand the project is for people to transcribe audio or video files. I am a retired lady with over thirty years of working experience. Not only do I have a love for the written word I also hold a formal qualification in English along with a management diploma. I have been working with one employer, writing articles for an on-line news site, for the past nine months. It has been a satisfying partnership for both parties and I would like to cultivate one more long term partnership. I have done some transcription work in the past but found that the turn around time requested by the employer, along with time zone differences made it impossible for me to complete the work in the required time. I know that accurate, well documented transcription takes time and with poor audio this time can be extended considerably. I have approximately three hours per day to spend on this task so if you have transcriptions that are not urgent or strictly time dependent then I will provide you with precise transcriptions to your specifications. I have the time, discipline and desire to assist you with your project and would work toward a beneficial relationship for both of us. Transcribing people with accents isn't an issue for me as I'm a college student studying abroad and I'm friends with many people with accents from all around the world. I'm an experienced transcriber as I have been transcribing for over 12 months now and I just finished a four hour long seminar in 3 days. So I'm perfectly able to work under time constraints.
